Late 80s-early 90s acid house thread. Stuff like Madchester is fine too.

reminds me of this, but im pretty sure this isnt acid house

I don't have anything to contribute but that's a jamming track, I'll have to look into this genre.

Last one was more just in-general 80s house but this one is actually more acid-related.

When it feels so wrong but it feels so right

Totally get it.

I think the production on Britney Spears' Toxic album is fantastic

I think Death Grips are one of the best things in music right now, if not the best. But now it's sleepy time, so I'll elaborate later :^)

Looks like they're collab'ing with a lot of artists for their next album

I definitely would go out of my way to say this is probably one of the best out there.

Do you listen to xenharmonic/microtonal music?
This album is good and free, and the website explains each song.

I assume you are familiar with Sevish and their "Rhythm & Xen".

I hadn't heard of it before, but I listened to it now and it was wonderful.
Thank you.

If you ever desire to make some microtonal music of your own, check out http://xenharmonic.wikispaces.com.

dead board

that's because the greatest music there will ever be is the long-winded symphony that has commenced at conception and will not cease until death

Is it just me or is bandcamp absolutely killing it lately in terms of sleep music? I want to share with you some that really stuck out to me

I don't know if this is self advertising or not, just wanted to share link to my Bandcamp. I make music mostly for myself, and I love when people say they like it. Really fills my heart.
Just sharing my works, I don't really care for feedback or anything.
General sharing music you make thread I guess?

(feel free to delete if this is prohibited, I'm kinda new to the board but I lurked enough and waited a bit)

Not really my cup of tea as far as genre, but this seems well produced and kind of chill, nice dude

This is actually really good; as the other anon said it sounds very well produced. I'm not usually a fan of techno because I find that it often tends to drag, but this was really nice to stick on and zone out to. Apologies if this is not how you envisaged listening to it.
I also like the artwork.

Pft, apologies for what? You choose how to listen to it, you are the listener, you can do whatever you want with it.
As I said, I'm glad I can share my work with other people. I try to do as many styles as I can (always into the electronic genre, I do all by PC obviously).

Thanks for the listenin', appreciate it, was hoping more people would share.

it's like being in the passenger seat of a car with heavy eyelids, nothing other than the small clicks and clacks of the suspension and the occasional whir of another car passing you in the opposite lane.. the windshield wipers wiping just a little too slow, just slow enough to see the rain blur the distant traffic lights every other moment.. the ticking of the blinker falls in sync with the radio every few seconds, almost hypnotically, how does the driver not fall asleep to this heavenly music? click, click, wipe, wipe, click, whir, clack, blink, blink, blink, blink…

beautiful description anon

even more beautiful music

i've always loved sounds

I could imagine this as the last thing i'd ever listen to

I would love to enjoy falling asleep as a passenger, but I get really worried that if I fall asleep it will make the driver fall asleep too

first time seeing them live

How was it anon? Did you have fun?

I have no idea what Death Grips music is like, and whether or not he's actually not into 3D women, or that's just an "ironic" "le black anime man xD" image

Definitely a dumb ironic image, I have no defense for it.

It was a great time, very loud. Didn't play a few songs I had hoped they would, but still good.

The cool thing about their performances is that there is no fluff, they don't speak in between songs, when they come on, and after the last song, they just run off stage.

I haven't liked them for a couple of years, I've found their most recent work to be kind of weak, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go see them.

I love Death Grips! Which songs did you hope they would play?

most notably, they did not play culture shock :(
